Product Description
Teflon bellows integrates advanced material science to solve thermal mismatch challenges in high-performance systems. The PTFE liner's negative coefficient of thermal expansion (-10.5×10⁻⁵/°C) counteracts the positive expansion of metallic piping, reducing residual stresses during temperature excursions. Combined with ASME BPE-compliant corrugated bellows, the assembly maintains structural integrity under vacuum conditions (<10⁻⁶ Torr) and full vacuum cycles. Certified for fire-safe applications (ASTM E119), the stainless steel reinforcement ensures containment integrity even during catastrophic failure scenarios.
